The Dogs of the Cable Car 2025 Calendar was created by our locals submitting photos of their furry friend's Cable Car moment.
All profits made from the calendar sales will go to Blind Low Vision Guide Dog Programme.

Chips
Goldendoodle/Sheepadoodle | 10 Months Old | Instagram: @chips_the_doodle
Chips is a 10-month-old Goldendoodle/Sheepadoodle who looks like a mix between a lion and a teddy bear, with the sweetest heart! She loves making new human and doggo friends and is always on her daily patrol around the CBD, wagging her tail and spreading smiles wherever she goes!

Spaniel x & Labrador Cross | 1 and 3 Year Olds
Olive and Rosie are best friends, they love doing zoomies at the beach and the park together.

Nancy

Proud Wellingtonian Basset Hound, Nancy loves to explore the Botanical Gardens, sun bath at Lyall Bay and spend as much time as possible with her best friends Nela and Julia!

Kylo
German Shepherd | 3 Year Old | TikTok: @kylogsd
Kylo was one of the first puppers to ride the Cable Car, back in 2021! She loves big snuggles, running around at the park with other doggos, and is utterly obsessed with her blue ball. She had the best time riding the cable car because it combined things she loves - going on an adventure, being able to look around at different sights, and of course being able to try to get pats from the people on the car! She is full of beans and such a lovely natured girl - and thinks she is a human - perching herself on the couch, insisting on sleeping on the bed, and generally being a big, clever, and beautiful goober. She is so well loved, and a big part of our family.

Donald
Greyhound | 4 Year Old
Donald is a rescue greyhound who took a few goes before he got used to the cable car. Now he loves riding to and from work with his humans, and particularly enjoys it when he can look out the window at the front or beg the driver for pats.
The July Puppers
Ruru, Paddy, and Hazel
Schnauzer mix (Ruru), "Airedale terrier" (Paddy), and Cavalier King Charles (Hazel) | 4 Months (Ruru), 99 Year Old (Paddy) and 2 Year Old (Hazel)
Ruru and Hazel followed in the paw-steps of Paddy the Wanderer, hitching a ride up the Cable Car with their fluffy companion Paddy. Whether young, old, or a little stuffed, you can take home a piece of Wellington history by adopting your own Paddy from Wellington Museum and Cable Car Museum.

Molly

Molly loves her sport! She loves playing with a soccer ball and showing how fast she can run through an agility course.

Mango

Mango loves chasing balls, catching frisbees, pulling on the lead and sustaining eye contact. Oh! And riding the Cable Car home after a long day in the office.

West Highland White Terrier | 5 Year Old
Five year old Hollee lives in Broadmeadows with her human parents, her 5 month old Westie brother, Radlee, and a 15 year old Russian Blue cat named Wolfgang Amadeus Meowzart. Hollee loves car rides, especially with the top down, walkies with the neighbourhood dog group and holidays around the North Island. Hollee's appeared in the newspaper and attended a few public events with her human dad, Councillor Ray Chung.
